 BLUES MOON RADIO - celebration!

Tuesday is Bluesday - 6-9 p.m. EDT www.wusc.sc.edu - hope you will tune in - we are "toasting" Steve Freund, Lonnie Mack, Bruce Iglauer and Alligator Records along with a long streak of birthday celebrants!

We'll also localize our Blues flavor with some hot local artists singing songs to celebrate Chef Joe Turkaly, whose birthday is today. You'll be treated to Laurence "Luckyman" Beall's Hoe Cake, J Edwards Latest "LuLu's House," and Freddie Vanderford, Piedmont Blues Harpman's "Cook Good Sallet"... we got some fine chefs and musicians around these parts of the Carolinas, my friends.

We'll still have some time to play, so we'll fill in with more music until it is time to head over to the Blues Jam at Utopia (3830 Rosewood Drive, Columbia SC) for their Blues Jam from 8:30-11. I'll provide the drive time music until 9 p.m.
